Fortunately, the all-clear was given immediately after the Enkirch fire brigade arrived. The owner had already been able to extinguish the initial fire in an electrical distribution system himself. As a precaution, the site of the fire was checked with the thermal imaging camera, but further measures were no longer necessary. The duration of use was approx. 40 minutes.

When the first forces arrived, thick smoke was already pouring out of the attic, which had been converted into a living room. There were no longer any people in the building, but one resident was taken to a nearby hospital, slightly injured and with smoke gas intoxication. The fire spread rapidly in the building and so at the beginning of the extinguishing work there was a flue gas ignition, which caused the entire attic to catch fire. Immediately a so-called bolt position was set up in the densely built-up location with 5 nozzles in order to successfully protect the neighboring houses from a flashover. At the same time, the telescopic articulated mast was brought into position and the extinguishing measures started from outside. A squad fought the flames inside the building. In order to have enough water reserves at the emergency site, a hose line was laid from the Moselle 500m away to the emergency site. After around 2 hours, the fire was contained to such an extent that only hard-to-reach embers had to be extinguished. The building consultants of the THW called in gave an assessment of the stability of the building, since a gable wall partially collapsed during the extinguishing work. The 2nd gable wall was demolished in a controlled manner during the extinguishing work, as it threatened to collapse. After the extinguishing work, the Enkirch fire brigade set up a fire watch, which checked the scene at regular intervals for any embers that might still be present. In this context, the fire brigade would like to thank the surrounding neighborhood for providing our emergency services with cold and warm drinks. The duration of use was approx. 6 hours.

It was probably diesel fuel. After several hours, this was contained by the weirs using oil barriers. By means of a floating oil binding agent, the oil could finally be set and skimmed from the surface of the water. The period of use was approx. 10 hours.

Since there was a rescue operation in Trarbach at the same time, the road had to be cleared quickly for the approaching rescue service from Zell. The tree was removed by the fire brigade. The duration of use was approx. 30 minutes.

These were partly removed by the weirs. Due to the high number of fallen trees and the darkness, the road was blocked by the LBM. The duration of use was approx. 2 hours.
